The Shocker NXT features a fully-adjustable stock trigger. It includes adjustable pre-travel, post-travel, firing point, and trigger pull weight (aka. spring tension).
· Spring tension: The weight for the trigger pull. Screw inward for greater pull weight.
· Firing point: The point during the trigger's swing where the microswitch is actuated, and the marker fires. Screw inward for a quicker firing point.
· Post-travel: The length of the trigger's rear (pull) swing. Screw inward for a shorter pull.
· Pre-travel: The length of the trigger's forward swing. Screw inward for a shorter pull.
All four of these adjustments are accessed in the front of the trigger. The stock trigger and all other Shocker triggers made by Smart Parts are all adjusted using a 0.05" allen wrench. New Designz triggers are adjusted using a 1/16" allen wrench. Other trigger manufacturers may use different adjustments.
Note that other triggers may use other size allen wrenches for their adjustments.
