Inception Designs is the manufacturing company created by Simon "Manike" Stevens, formally of NPS and KEE. Reportably he purchased some equipment for a well-equipped home machine shop in 2012, but decided there were more interesting oppertunities to be found there.
At the time of this writing, Inception uses a couple Haas CNCs to do the bulk of their work. The newer machine is a Haas ST-20SSY 4 axis slant bed lathe equipped with live tooling. The mill seen in the pictures below is a Haas VF2 with upgraded spindle, tool changer, and 5 axis trunnion indexer. These machines make it easy to create complex workpieces with minimal interaction.
