My Markers -> Competition markers -> 2005 Dark Shocker SFT

Simlar to my 2003 Shocker, I built this one with my own specifications in parts and accessories. I also had it custom anodized and engraved. This represents just about everything I want in terms of a Shocker (at the time that I made it, anyway).

I bought this gun in mid/late 2005 and had it sitting around in pieces for quite some time. I eventually had it sent back for a nice reanodizing, once I had gathered all the parts I needed to make it complete. The finished marker is without a doubt one of my favorites. I don't use this gun unless it's in a tournament.
Listed below are the specifications. Everything here was handpicked at some level so it's all itmes that I wanted.

Parts:
· Warped Sportz Dark Shocker base
· Dark Shocker frame - my favorite Shocker SFT frame.
· WS Function clamping feedneck (Dark Shocker version) - not my preference in feednecks, but this was a special one made for the Dark Shockers only, so I kept it.
· Dark Shocker snatchgrip
· Dark Shocker 10º angled vertical adapter with gauge.
· Nerve stock trigger - one of my favorite Shocker SFT triggers.
· SP Smartgrips - nice and thick, just how I like it.
· SP S-rail with Max-Flo Micro reg.
· Kila six detents (not shown)
· Freak back with 16" All American front

Internals:
· Humphrey solenoid - present in all my Shockers/Nerves.
· Stainless solenoid manifold - I was bored so I made a couple manifolds for my guns.
· SFT o-ring groove lathe mod, 17/90 o-ring - the o-ring groove is filletted to allow the o-ring a bit of room to move when paint slides through. A version of this was made stock on Shockers sometime later.
· Delrin HE bolt - an original stock delrin bolt, modified to function as HE. Pictures can be found in the custom work page on bolt mods.
· Beam-break eye system - I drilled the body for beam-break eyes before I sent it back for ano. I planned on using the stock eyes originally, but ended up biting the bullet and installing different eyes in the end. The eye milling turned out great with the special countours of the Dark body, even before being anodized to match.

· I-LEB eye converter prototype - during the design phase, I installed a prototype of my I-LEB converter in this marker so I could test it on the field.
Hand-made converter Hand-made converter
· Board - I've got a lot available, I just flip a coin and pick one.
· 80-g trigger microswitch - just my preference.

The entire marker is anodized black with a purple acidwash effect. I haven't seen many purple Shockers...actually, I don't think I've seen any at all...so I hope this one is nice to see.
