My Markers -> Recreational markers -> 2003 Shocker SFT

This was my first main Shocker SFT, which I put together from individual parts to make the complete marker I wanted. This was back in 2004 so keep in mind nobody else did it at the time. Regardless, the marker ended up pretty nice in the end (and very cheap after getting some great deals on some of its parts).

Running the electronics is a special Morlock board that I modified to fit in the marker and allow for easy disassembly (this involved installing a new connector on the board, among other things).

I finished assembling this marker in November 2004. I used this marker for several weeks as my "main" tournament gun, but after a while I ended up with several other tournament-grade markers that I started using here and there (Nerve, mainly). This is still a very smooth Shocker, great for scenario games and such.

On this Shocker, I originally used a vertical Max-Flo reg with an HP Max-Flo manifold system, but soon afterwards I picked up an LP manifold tank system so I installed the gas-thru grip (which is seen in the pics above). There really isn't a practical performance difference between this, but I ended up using the gas-thru on this marker since I didn't have a different use for it.

On this particular Shocker, I've ended up using an NDZ v3 bolt for most of its lifetime. I got this bolt very cheap so it's what I've stuck to using. The Shocker experiences some FSDO, but the anti-bolt stick settings will take care of it.
