My Markers -> Recreational markers -> 2002 Shocker Sport Morlock

This is my most prized Shocker Sport; specifically it's a 2002 Shocker V-Sport Morlock. It's upgraded to the maximum range for these old brick Shockers, however still doesn't get very good efficiency and can't surpass 11-12 bps. This was one of my first markers so it's been around for quite a while. I try to keep it in good visual condition regardless.

I bought this gun in June of 2003 from paintballgear.com (looked like this), however I knew Shockers make great project guns so I decided to mod it from that point forward. I originally had a number of other mods installed on this Shocker too, but ended up removing some of them for various reasons.
· 2002 model Shocker V-Sport serial 24556
· SP Voodoo bolt tip (2002 style)
· Eclipse rokit piston
· NDZ Halo no-rise
· NDZ Blade trigger
· Imperial Paintball snatchgrip
· NDZ ball detents
· SP Gadget grip
· SP Smartgrips
· KM2 Morlock board
· Beam-break anti-chop eyes
· Rear toggle power switch
· Horizontal Max-Flo regulator
· Freak back with 14" All American Front
· Old-style Smart Parts drop forward bar with HP 88-cu Max-Flo 4500 manifold system.

Morlock Board:
In spring of 2003 I installed a KM2 Morlock board (original version) in the gun, because I wanted to modify it as much as I could. It was my first Morlock installation, and was kindof messy at the time, however as the months progressed and I performed the install on other markers, I went back and cleaned things up a bit. In the end, the marker had the following specifications: relocated green LED, beam-break anti-chop eyes with internal wire mounting, toggle power switch on the rear of the housing, modded trigger microswitch, and in-line wire disconnects for the solenoids and eyes. I also relocated the tournament lock to the rear of the frame (visible in the above pics) but took that feature off since I never used it.

As said I also drilled the body to allow the bottoms of the eyes' external wiring to run into the circuit housing; this makes reassembly a snap and allows you to put things back together without having to worry about the wires being pinched. Here are some pictures:

The trigger microswitch is epoxied onto the small board shelf next to it (small pins hold the microswitch in place). I use an Omton 80-g microswitch which I modified to repel with a force of approximately 100 grams. I use the switch to repel the trigger (no trigger return spring).

While it is true that the gun has an anti-chop eye system installed, I generally don't even use it. It isn't absolutely required unless I use an agitated hopper for weight concerns. but if I'm using a Halo or similar then it doesn't have much practical use. I have never chopped with this gun (even before the Morlock board), and I don't plan on ever doing so.
