Many have asked for it, so I've decided to start offering out third-party service for online trading. This is used when you are buying or selling parts over the internet and are unsure about whom you're dealing with. This is how the process works:
1. Buyer sends payment to us, via regular mail or paypal.
2. At the same time, seller sends the purchased item to us.
3. Once we receive both the payment and the item as described, the payment is sent to the seller and the item is sent to the buyer.
For "trade" deals, both parties send the markers/equipment into us and once everything checks out, they are forwarded to the new owners.

If the seller fails to send the items that were bought, the payment in full is returned to the buyer. Alternately, if the buyer fails to send the payment, the items that were bought are returned to the seller. Through using this process, both the buyer and seller are protected from one-another because neither party directly interact, besides for arranging the deal itself. The additional benefit to the process is the security that comes with going through us, and that both buyer and seller will be able to complete the transaction regardless of how their "feedback" looks (or if one party doesn't have feedback).

The third-party service is an insurance policy to guard against online scamming. To date we've never actually run into anybody directly trying to scam the other party (naturally so, since it would be pointless while using the third-party service) but the necessity of the service is still present.

Costs and Details:
The third-party service is offered for a flat rate of $10 per transaction, plus shipping charges. The $10 fee can be split between the two parties in any way ($5 each, $10 from one and $0 from the other, or any other combination).
If the sale involves a used marker being sold (no trade), there will be a $10 shipping charge on the marker and a $1.50 shipping charge on the payment (money order or check is recommended).
If the sale involves trading two markers, there is a $10 shipping charge on EACH marker.
The shipping charges above will cover the cost for shipping all the items anywere in the United States. We can ship internationally but there will be more cost for it. Delivery confirmation is used, but insurance is additional (insurance costs another $10).
For payment amounts several hundred dollars or more, sending a money order or check is suggested. Paypal can be used, but they will take out 2-3% of the total amount as interest (so some money will be lost to the receipant of the payment).

When shipping a third-party package, please use the third-party form instead of the standard shipping form.

Marker Deals and Descriptions:
This is the most important detail. It's completely up to you two as to what "makes up" the item that you paid for. Upon receiving the marker, it will be inspected as per the description, taking note of the scratches and general condition, and the marker will also be pressurized to make sure it holds air. However, we won't perform any tuning, cleaning, or other work unless somebody wants it to me done (and pay the added charge for it, of course).
For instance, if the marker has some scratches but the seller described it as being that way, the marker would check out as being correctly described and the transaction would be ready for completion. However, both parties must be VERY sure what the other means by "a little scratches" (or whatever). Please don't leave guesswork for us as to what the gun is supposed to look like.
Alternately, if the marker is scratched up and the seller specifically said it wasn't scratched, there would then be a problem. At that point the buyer and seller would have to confer on the issue, and we'll go ahead with whatever is discussed (take some money off the price, send everything back, or anything in between).
